Frequently Asked Questions
The questions we are asked most often. If yours is not here, contact us directly.
How do I get a free postal pack?
Request it on our postal pack page with your name and address. We review the details, arrange the Royal Mail label, and tell you how to pack the items safely in a secure box or padded envelope.
Is there a minimum value for items?
There is no strict minimum, but items do need some collectible or precious-metal value. If you are unsure, send a photo on WhatsApp before posting anything.
How long does the valuation take?
Once we receive your items, we typically assess them and reply within 24 to 48 hours. For larger collections, it may take a little longer, and we will keep you updated throughout the process.
What happens if I decline the offer?
We return all your items by Royal Mail at no cost to you. There is no obligation to sell.
How do I get paid?
Once you accept our offer, we arrange payment by BACS or bank transfer. In most cases this is handled the same day during business hours. Cash in person can also be arranged in limited cases.
Are my items insured during transit?
Yes. The arranged postal route uses Royal Mail and is covered up to £2,500. If you think the parcel needs extra cover because of the likely value or the type of item, contact us before you send it and we will advise on the safest next step.
What if my items are too large or delicate to post?
Contact us before sending anything. We can handle larger collections, estates, and some home visits by appointment, and we will advise on the safest and most practical next step.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Crumlin, Northern Ireland, and handle postal selling across the UK. If you are unsure whether your items are suitable, contact us first and we will guide you.
Can I send photos for an initial estimate?
Yes. Send clear photos on WhatsApp and we will tell you whether the items look suitable and what the best next step is. This is the quickest way to check before posting anything.
Do you buy damaged or broken items?
Yes. Broken jewellery, scrap gold, damaged silver, and non-working watches can still have value, so it is always worth asking first.
How long is an offer valid for?
Our offers are usually held for 7 days unless we tell you otherwise at the time.
Do I need ID to sell items in person?
Yes. If you are selling in person, we may ask for ID and provide a receipt.
